Due to the amount of applications we have received to this point, we are only able to fill half of the building. We have decided that at this point that “no show” would be better than a “bad show”. We are planning to reschedule this event for early March or April 2012.
Looking back, we think one mistake was not putting a deadline on show applications. The amount of phone calls and emails we have received by far, exceeded the applications that came in. The enthusiasm for the show was overwhelming.
The City of Knoxville has been aggressively helping us with this event. They want us to bring this venue back to Knoxville – multiple times a year. They were also in favor of us holding off & rescheduling. All of our upcoming advertising ( tv, radio, billboards, newspapers etc.) have been withdrawn.
With your help, we are looking forward to bringing this event back to Knoxville as an ongoing event multiple times a year.
